  • Jennifer Rempel - Founder& Executive Producer

    Jennifer is a dynamic leader with over 25 years of expertise in festival and event production, small business advocacy, and management in both non-profit and private sectors. Known for her strategic vision and knack for fostering effective public-private partnerships, she excels in organizational development, stakeholder engagement, and community-driven initiatives. Passionate about Calgary’s vibrant local culture, Jennifer actively supports small businesses and champions events that enrich the community experience. When she’s off the clock, you’ll find her exploring Calgary’s diverse culinary scene or enjoying the city’s latest festivals and events.

  • Chico Uribe - Operations & Production Director

    Chico is a versatile professional who launched his career in event production as a DJ in Montreal and has since expanded his expertise across Canada. Now based in Calgary, he adeptly manages events ranging from intimate gatherings and concerts to large-scale outdoor festivals. With over 25 years in the music and hospitality industries, Chico specializes in logistical planning, personnel management, and consistently delivering exceptional experiences for clients and guests alike. His dedication and hands-on approach ensure that every event exceeds expectations.

  • Audrey Badzgon - Vendor Coordinator

    Audrey is a passionate person, with a background in theatre and live music production, she is excited to succeed in the vendor coordinator role.

    As a detail-oriented and creative individual, she finds joy in the balance that comes with the event and festival industry. When she’s not working, she loves to spend her time going to see live bands or spending time with her cat.

  • Drew Atlas - Sponsorship & Partnership Lead

    Drew brings over 25 years of experience in event promotion, brand partnerships, and audience engagement to his role as Sponsorship & Partnerships Lead with Vibrant City. As a long-time Calgary resident, he has worked across festivals, live events, and media platforms, helping organizations connect with diverse audiences through well-executed and culturally relevant experiences.

    With a background in broadcast media, live event production, and marketing, Drew has collaborated with businesses, non-profits, and cultural organizations
    to develop partnerships that balance creative impact with clear sponsor value. Known for his strong local relationships and practical, results-focused approach, Drew leads sponsorship strategy and partnership development, identifying aligned partners and supporting seamless integration into events that matter to Calgary. 

    Outside of work, he remains active in Calgary’s cultural scene and continues to support initiatives that strengthen connection, creativity, and community engagement.

  • Valentina Alvarez - Marketing & Social Media Manager

    Valentina is a marketing and
    communications professional with a background in public relations and a passion for bringing ideas to life. She specializes in social media strategy, content creation, and communications support, helping brands connect meaningfully with their audiences both online and in person.

    Valentina thrives in fast-paced environments and is known for her ability to balance creativity with organization. She’s deeply passionate about community-driven work and loves seeing the behind-the-scenes details come together to create something impactful.

    Outside of work, Valentina enjoys spending time with her dogs, staying active, and finding inspiration through everyday moments that fuel her creativity.

  • Raul Tapia - Production Lead

    With a dynamic background that spans several industries, Raul is known for his ability to manage diverse projects. Before taking on his current role in event production, he gained hands-on experience as a Cook, Construction Manager, and in Marketing. As the Production Lead, Raul combines his vast experiences to oversee the execution of our events. He thrives on collaboration, leadership, and finding creative solutions to complex challenges. Outside of work, Raul enjoys playing music and spending time with his kids.

  • Marco Uribe - Volunteer Coordinator & Production Lead

    Marco recently joined the event production team but has always been surrounded by events, music, festivals, entertainment, and as a performer. His strengths include being organized, thoughtful, considerate, and able to adapt to the situation to find solutions. Marco is currently studying a bachelor of arts with a psychology major and a sociology minor, with a 2-year bachelor of education after degree. He volunteers with a kindergarten class in which he assists in the classroom and works one on one with students. In his free time, he enjoys staying physically active.

  • Sharai Gutoski - Vendor & Event Assistant

    With a background in community event planning and real estate, Sharai has always been drawn to work rooted in connection, relationships, and building strong communities. Known for her outgoing personality and people-first approach, she thrives in the fast-paced environment of live events and loves the challenge of making sure every detail comes together seamlessly. From supporting vendors and working alongside her team behind the scenes to helping create lasting memories for attendees, Sharai takes pride in being part of events where people feel connected, welcomed, and excited to come together as a community.

    When she’s not planning events, you can find her listening to country music, spending time with family, soaking up the sunshine, or experimenting with new cocktail recipes.
