  • Jennifer Rempel - Principal

    Jennifer is an experienced leader with a demonstrated history of working in small business advocacy, festivals and events, not for profit and private sector management. Her strengths include strategic leadership and planning, organizational development, public-private partnerships, and stakeholder relations. She has over 20 years of experience in large scale event production and advocacy for the small business community in Calgary. In her free time she loves exploring new restaurants in Calgary and attending festivals and events.

  • Shannon McNally - Artistic Director

    Shannon has 15 years of experience planning and implementing special events, with a passion for music, live performances, and quality programming. She is detail oriented with a commitment to fulfilling client expectations and supporting event partner success. Shannon has a degree in Hospitality and Tourism and is
    an active volunteer board member. She enjoys spending time with friends & family
    and attending live concerts.

  • Chico Uribe - Operations & Production Director

    A man that wears many hats, started in the Event Production business as a DJ in Montreal. Now in Calgary managing productions for events from small homes to concerts to large outdoor festivals. His strengths include logistical production, and personnel management along with a drive to achieve customer and guest satisfaction. With over 25 years of experience in the music and hospitality industry, Chico has extensive knowledge and experience in event production from across Canada.

  • Madison Henuset - Marketing and Social Media Manager

    Madison brings a fresh, new perspective to our dynamic team! With five years of expertise in event and non-profit marketing, she initially began her career in the robotics and AI industry before being captivated by the local arts and culture scene. Armed with a Bachelor of Business, holding a double major in marketing and management complemented by a minor in film studies. Madison is now completing her Master of Business Administration at the University of Calgary. Beyond her professional pursuits, she finds joy in traveling, playing and coaching volleyball, and spending quality time with her foster pets.

  • Trina Barrett - Vendor Coordinator

    Trina is the newest asset to the team and enthusiastic about her journey in the events industry.

    After earning her degree in International Development from the University of Calgary, she continued her career in the hospitality industry which led her to her current role with Vibrant City. She’s transferred her exceptional customer service experience, creativity and strategic time management skills to the event production business. 

    Trina spends her time off
    exploring new restaurants in Calgary with friends and staying active at the local yoga studio. 

  • Marco Uribe - Volunteer Coordinator/Production Lead

    Marco recently joined the event production team but has always been surrounded by events, music, festivals, entertainment, and as a performer. His strengths include being organized, thoughtful, considerate, and able to adapt to the situation to find solutions. Marco is currently studying a bachelor of arts with a psychology major and a sociology minor, with a 2-year bachelor of education after degree. He volunteers with a kindergarten class in which he assists in the classroom and works one on one with students. In his free time, he enjoys staying physically active.
